We are seeking an operations technician to support the operation of process plants in the chemical, water and waste management industries. The ideal candidate should have hands-on technical skills, a strong work ethic, the ability to operate and maintain plant and equipment efficiently.
Role and Responsibilities
- Operate process plants consisting of various unit operations and process equipment.
- Perform process monitoring and troubleshooting to ensure stable plant operation.
- Carry out first-line maintenance and routine equipment checks.
- Record operational data and report any abnormalities
- Conduct housekeeping and general site work
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations at all times
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum GCE O Level, ITE certificate, or equivalent qualification.
- At least 2 years of experience working in process plant operations.
- Basic knowledge and experience in operating mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Forklift driving license will be an advantage.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English ability to communicate in Chinese will be an added advantage.
- Willingness to be posted to project sites when required.
This is a 6 months contract position with opportunity to renew.
