Your new role

We are seeking a Operations Support Analyst to join a dynamic team supporting business-critical processes and systems within a banking environment. This is a contract opportunity suitable for candidates with experience in financial services operations, business support, or application support functions.

Your responsibilities include:

• Supporting day-to-day operations and business-critical platforms utilized by financial markets teams.
• Investigating and resolving operational and system-related issues.
• Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth business operations and timely issue resolution.
• Assisting with incident management, change implementation, and process improvement initiatives.
• Coordinating with regional and global teams to support ongoing business requirements.
• Participating in testing, system enhancements, and operational support activities where required.
• Maintaining documentation and ensuring adherence to established support procedures.

What you'll need to succeed

• 4 to 12 years of experience within banking, financial services, operations support, business support, or application support environments.
• Experience supporting business-critical systems or operational processes within a financial institution.
• Exposure to financial markets, capital markets, derivatives, futures, or related products would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage incidents and work effectively with stakeholders across business and technology teams.
• Familiarity with AS/400 or similar enterprise platforms is highly advantageous.
• Prior experience supporting clearing, settlement, accounting, or trade processing functions will be viewed favorably.
