Brief Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to oversee air import operations, ensuring efficient cargo clearance and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role is critical to maintaining service quality and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage air import operations, including cargo clearance, warehousing, and transport tasks.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore Customs regulations and other controlling agencies.
- Supervise service partners in handling terminal clearance, cargo receiving and releasing, and customs permit declarations.
- Liaise closely with service providers to monitor project shipments from arrival clearance to Proof of Delivery/Acceptance.
- Implement strict cargo safety and security measures in line with customer SOPs and accreditation standards.
- Collaborate effectively with the customer service team to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Analyze and maintain records of direct cost billing invoices related to service provider jobs.
- Conduct incident reporting and develop corrective action reports using 8D problem-solving methodologies.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficient in using PC and comfortable with software applications
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
- Attention to detail, meticulousness, and self-motivation are crucial.
- Demonstrated sense of urgency and responsibility in job execution.
