Operations Supervisor (Air Import) - 5 Days

Job Descriptions

• Handle air import operations dealing with air cargo clearance, warehouse and transport operations.

• Knowledge on every aspect of ground handlers mode of operations.

• Knowledge on Singapore Customs and Controlling Agencies Regulatory requirements.

• Manage our service partners handling our cargo terminal clearance, warehouse cargo receiving & releasing, transportation and Import Customs permit declaration vendor and regulatory Agencies permits submission and approval.

• Monitor and closely liaise with the service providers on the handling of project shipments from arrival clearance to Proof of Delivery/Acceptance.

• Enforce strict cargo safety and security measures based on customers own SOP and other accreditation bodies.

• Work closely with the customer service team for a smooth service deliveries and commitments.

• Analyze and maintain records on direct cost billing invoices on jobs performed by our service providers

• Work on weekends and night when required.

• Knowledge on incident reporting and report i.e., 8D (problem solving methods-8 disciplines) and Corrective Action Report.

Job Requirements

• Must be PC-liberate and comfortable using or learning software

• Must be a Team Player and able to work independently

• Must be careful, meticulous and self-motivated

• Must possess a sense of urgency and responsibility in work

• Candidate should have at least 3 years of relevant airside experience, with a strong understanding of cargo operations, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements

• Candidate with no experience is welcome to apply for junior position.
