Job Description

Aerospace Component Engineering Services (ACES) Pte Ltd is a joint venture between SIA Engineering Company and Parker Aerospace, specializing in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) of hydraulic pumps, actuators, valves, and flight controls for commercial aircraft.

As we enter a new phase of business growth and gear up to support next-generation aircraft for customers across the Asia Pacific region, we are inviting dynamic individuals to join us as OPERATIONS SENIOR ENGINEER / ENGINEERin our Operations Team.

Role Overview

The Operations Senior Engineer / Engineer will be responsible for supporting and advancing operational excellence objectives. This role requires strong technical expertise and effective collaboration across teams to deliver, efficient, high-performing operations and drive continuous improvement.

This is not typical 9-to-5 grind - it demands commitment, adaptability, and a passion for operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive and optimize operational performance by maintaining a pipeline of improvement opportunities.
  • Identify and introduce industry and OEM best practices into operational processes (e.g., tooling, equipment).
  • Ensure optimal central production facilities by driving performance and OEE, ensuring tooling and equipment meet product specifications and quality standards.
  • Support and complete major CAPEX activities for the plant.
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma principles to streamline processes and eliminate waste.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement effective RCCA for operational issues.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory, EHS, and quality standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members when needed.
  • Lead initiatives that enhance productivity and optimize resource utilization.
  • Offer OEM site training opportunities for skill development and knowledge transfer.

Reporting To

Head of Operations

Qualifications

  • Degree/Diploma in Engineering or related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in aviation MRO or manufacturing operations.
  • Good understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across teams.

  • Understand and committed to aviation safety and airworthiness of products.
  • Project management experience desired.
