Job Description

Role Overview

We're looking for an Operations & Quality Executive to ensure every task completed in-store meets our standards - and to actively coach our Shelfies to improve over time.

This role sits at the core of our operations:
You are the link between field execution (Shelfies) and client expectations (quality).

Key Responsibilities

1. Task Quality Review

  • Review completed merchandising tasks (photos, inputs, reports)
  • Score and validate tasks based on internal SOPs
  • Flag errors, inconsistencies, or missing data
  • Ensure high standards across:Shelf placementStock availabilityPromotional executionData accuracy

2. Shelfie Communication & Coaching

  • Communicate directly with Shelfies via WhatsApp/app
  • Provide clear, actionable feedback on rejected or low-quality tasks
  • Guide new Shelfies through their first visits
  • Reinforce best practices and SOP adherence

3. Issue Resolution

  • Troubleshoot problems in real time (e.g. store access, missing products)
  • Handle edge cases and exceptions efficiently
  • Escalate critical issues when needed

4. Continuous Improvement

  • Identify recurring mistakes and suggest improvements to training/SOPs
  • Support onboarding and training of new Shelfies
  • Help refine QA processes alongside product and ops teams

What We're Looking For

  • Strong attention to detail - you notice what others miss

  • Comfortable managing many conversations simultaneously
  • Fast decision-maker with good judgment
  • High ownership mindset - you take responsibility for outcomes

Bonus:

  • Experience in merchandising, retail, or FMCG
  • Experience in operations, QA, or customer support
  • Familiarity with WhatsApp Business, Google Sheets, or similar tools
