The Operations Manager is expected to lead warehouse, inventory, and logistics operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant daytoday execution. This role drives people performance, inventory accuracy, workflow discipline, and costeffective logistics while working closely with crossfunctional teams to meet regulatory requirements, customer standards, and business goals.
People Leadership
- Lead, supervise, coach, and develop the Inventory, Warehouse, and Logistics teams
- Guide and support subordinates to achieve operational accuracy and performance targets (eg cross training)
- Conduct regular performance reviews, identifying training, development, and performance improvement needs
- Foster a cohesive workplace culture built on teamwork, trust, and collaboration
- Allocate and manage manpower effectively in response to changing operational demands
- Ensure accurate, timely information flow across all operational teams for effective execution
- Ensure all teams adhere to established workflows, processes, and standard operating procedures
- Regularly reinforce and educate staff on operational procedures and compliance requirements
Warehouse Operations Management
- Oversee warehouse operations to ensure optimal safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
- Proactively monitor space utilization and inventory levels, identifying and reporting capacity or stock risks.
- Enforce consistent housekeeping standards to support safeand efficient warehouse operations.
- Lead and support warehouse teams in preparation and execution of annual stock takes.
Inventory Operations Management
- Ensure robust inventory controls, including full product traceability
- Monitor inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies proactively
Logistics Operations Management
- Oversee fleet maintenance planning and control transport budgets to ensure costeffective, reliable operational support.
- Provide regular briefings to logistics teams on customer priorities, service requirements, and operational challenges.
Health, Safety & Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all Operational Health and Safety(OHS) standards and procedures for employees and visitors
- Drive continuous improvement in OHS practices, recommendingand implementing enhancements where required
- Enforce safe vehicle use and driving practices for logisticspersonnel
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to maintain warehouse and fleet standards in line with SFA regulations and customer requirements
Adhoc Projects
- Plan and manage project(s) assigned by the management
