Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage day-to-day operations, ensuring the achievement of safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost performance targets.
- Develop operational plans, manage departmental budgets, optimise resource allocation, and ensure effective cost control to support business objectives.
- Recruit, coach, and develop high-performing teams through performance management, training, succession planning, and capability building.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including 5S, Kaizen, Visual Management, and standardised work, to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
- Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and other business functions to resolve operational challenges, optimise processes, and deliver strategic business goals.
- Leverage ERP systems and data analytics tools (e.g. SAP, Excel, Power BI, Tableau) to monitor operational performance, identify improvement opportunities, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Lead the resolution of operational and technical issues, manage competing priorities effectively, and foster strong collaboration with stakeholders through excellent communication and leadership.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering
- At least 8 years of operational experience
- Experience in Valve Manufacturing/Repair or similar MRO environment
