Job Description

This position reports to the Operations Director and is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end operations of the company's AI-enabled beverage vending machine network. The role integrates operational management with technology-driven processes, including machine performance monitoring, supply chain coordination, and service optimisation. The Operations Manager will work closely with technical teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure high system uptime, efficient replenishment cycles, and consistent product quality across all deployment locations. The role supports business scalability through data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

1.⁠ ⁠Oversee daily operations of vending machine network, ensuring optimal uptime, functionality, and service reliability

2.⁠ ⁠Plan and manage replenishment schedules, inventory control, and logistics coordination across multiple locations

3.⁠ ⁠Monitor machine performance through IoT dashboards and analytics systems to identify faults, usage trends, and optimization opportunities

4.⁠ ⁠Coordinate with technical vendors and service teams for maintenance, troubleshooting, and system upgrades

5.⁠ ⁠Implement operational SOPs and ensure compliance with food safety, regulatory, and company standards

5.⁠ ⁠Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce downtime or wastage

6.⁠ ⁠Support expansion planning, including site evaluation, deployment readiness, and operational setup of new machines

Skills:

1.⁠ ⁠Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation using dashboards or reporting tools (e.g., Excel, POS analytics, IoT monitoring systems)

2.⁠ ⁠Understanding of IoT-enabled systems, including remote monitoring, machine diagnostics, and basic troubleshooting workflows

3.⁠ ⁠Knowledge of inventory management systems, logistics planning, and supply chain coordination

4.⁠ ⁠Ability to develop and implement SOPs for operational consistency and compliance

5.⁠ ⁠Familiarity with digital payment systems integration and transaction monitoring

6.⁠ ⁠Problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced operational environment
