OPERATIONS MANAGER

Sol Luminaire, an architectural lighting studio founded in Singapore, is expanding.

We are looking for an Operations Manager to support our operations team as we grow.

Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations:

• Oversee end-to-end warehouse activities including receiving, picking, packing, and dispatch

• Ensure inventory is properly stored and records are accurate and up to date

• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards within the warehouse

Team Supervision:

• Lead and manage warehouse staff, drivers, and technicians

• Allocate manpower and assign tasks based on operational needs

• Oversee onboarding and training to ensure team effectiveness

Logistic and Fleet Management:

• Plan and manage delivery schedules to meet service requirements

• Monitor vehicle usage and ensure timely servicing and maintenance

• Oversee tracking of fleet-related expenses (fuel, tolls, parking)

Inventory and Systems:

• Oversee inventory records and ensure accuracy in the ERP system

• Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions

• Monitor stock levels and movement

Coordination & Issue Handling:

• Work closely with the sales team on delivery planning and customer requirements

• Manage and resolve operational issues, including delays and service disruptions

Process Improvement:

• Identify gaps in workflows and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity

The Ideal Candidate:

• 6-10 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or operations

• At least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role

• Experience managing teams of 10-20 staff or more

• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and workflow planning

• Able to manage daily operations while improving processes and efficiency

• Comfortable handling operational issues and making decisions independently
