Role Description The Operations Manager / Operations Director / Head of Operations is a full-time, hybrid role based in Singapore River, with flexibility for partial work from home. The role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational activities, including resource planning, workflow optimization, and coordination across project teams. The individual will implement and refine operational processes, monitor performance metrics, and ensure client engagements are delivered efficiently and to agreed quality standards. Typical responsibilities include managing budgets and operational costs, supporting business planning, and collaborating with leadership on strategic initiatives. The role also involves developing internal policies, driving continuous improvement, supervising operations staff, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and relevant regulations.
Qualifications
- Strong operations management capabilities, including process improvement, workflow design, and performance tracking.
- Experience in project coordination and resource planning, with the ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines.
- Financial and analytical skills to manage budgets, monitor KPIs, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Leadership and people management skills, including team supervision, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, demonstrating self-management, accountability, and clear communication.
- Prior experience in consulting, professional services, or a similar client-focused environment is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, finance, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
