Location: North, Singapore (Office-based with site visits)
Salary: S$5,000 - S$6,500
Industry: Civil Engineering & Industrial Equipment
Think of yourself as the Control Tower of the company. We have two main sides to our business: building underground utilities (like pipes and cables) and selling/servicing industrial pumps and heaters.
Your job is to make sure everything runs on time, safely, and without mistakes. You'll be the bridge between the office, the site workers, and the customers.
1. Managing Construction Sites
Making sure the right workers and equipment are at the right place every morning.
Checking that all safety rules (WSH) are followed so nobody gets hurt.
Talking to main contractors to ensure our pipe-laying or cable-pulling work is moving according to schedule.
2. Managing the Technical Office
When customers call for spare parts or repairs for pumps and burners, you make sure their requests are handled quickly.
Keeping an eye on our warehouse stock-making sure we don't run out of critical parts.
Scheduling technicians to go out and fix equipment when it breaks down.
3. Improving the Team
Creating simple how-to guides (SOPs) so the team knows exactly how to handle tasks without asking you every time.
Coaching the site supervisors and office staff to work more efficiently.
The Fix-It Mindset: You don't need to be a mechanic, but you should be comfortable looking at a pump or a burner and figuring out the basic problem so you can tell the technicians what to bring.
Background: A Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical).
Experience: At least 5 years in a similar role-either on a construction site or in a warehouse/distribution environment.
Safety Knowledge: You must know Singapore's site safety rules (Risk Assessments and Permits).
If you enjoy a job where no two days are the same-one day you're in a safety vest on-site, the next you're in the office improving business processes-this is for you.
