Operations Manager – Dry Bulk Shipping

Key Responsibilities

. Manage the full spectrum of voyage operations for assigned dry bulk vessels

. Optimize voyage performance, cost efficiency, and operational outcomes

. Act as the primary point of contact for charterers, owners, brokers, and agents

. Oversee bunker planning, scheduling, and port operations

. Ensure strict compliance with charter party terms and regulatory requirements

. Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges

. Maintain high standards of reporting and documentation

Requirements

. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in dry bulk vessel operations

. Degree in any discipline (maritime background advantageous but not essential)

. Strong commercial awareness and understanding of dry bulk trades

. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

. Ability to perform under pressure in a dynamic, global environment

. Detail-oriented, proactive, and solutions-driven
