Title: Operations Manager (Healthcare Services)

About the company:
Our client is leader in the Health Services sector. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a highly driven Operations Manager to join their expanding team.
The role will work alongside multi-disciplinary team members to strategically plan for new clinical workflows, infrastructure readiness and patient service design with the aim of delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
Responsibilities
- Translate clinical care models into operational workflows, patient journeys, and space utilisation parameters
- Participate in design reviews and mock-up evaluations to ensure alignment between clinical intent and service flow functionality
- Develop and implement operational models that support safe, efficient, and patient-centric care delivery
- Lead the development of policies, SOPs, emergency procedures, and service protocols
- Drive workflow simulations and operational scenario planning to validate service delivery models
- Support licensing and regulatory preparation, including audit readiness
- Ensure capital expenditure planning aligns with operational and service delivery needs
- Lead operational rehearsals and patient journey simulations
- Coordinate phased service activation and monitor post-launch operational performance
- Identify operational risks within care delivery models and implement mitigation strategies
- Engage stakeholders through structured workshops and discussions to define service requirements and inform planning assumptions
- Develop business justifications to support service expansion and infrastructure investment
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Nursing, Allied Health, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 8-12 years of healthcare operations experience, ideally having exposure to large scale healthcare operation environments
- Prior experience in hospital/medical centre/clinic pre-opening, commissioning, or major expansion projects is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare regulatory requirements or accreditation standards is advantageous
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and strong project management skills with ability to manage complex timelines
- Strong systems thinking and operational design capability
- Good communications skills to engage and influence stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and governance mindset
