Job Summary
We are looking for a results-driven Operations Manager to lead and optimise retail operations across our store fleet in Singapore. This role plays a key part in driving sales performance, operational excellence, and delivering an exceptional consumer experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire the retail operations team to achieve excellence and deliver outstanding consumer experiences across all stores
- Drive the achievement of net sales and profitability targets for the Singapore store fleet through strategic operational management
- Manage and optimise daily operational workflows to ensure efficiency and consistency across all retail locations
- Analyze operational data, performance metrics, and KPIs to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for continuous improvement
- Prepare, review, and present detailed operational reports, budgets, forecasts, and cost analyses to support informed decision-making
- Monitor expenses, resource utilization, and staff productivity to implement effective cost control measures and enhance profitability
- Develop, implement, and refine operational processes, policies, and SOPs based on data-driven insights to improve store performance
- Coordinate with finance and other departments to align budgeting, reporting, and operational planning activities
- Track operational performance against targets and recommend corrective actions to address deviations promptly
- Plan sales strategies incorporating quantitative analysis and seasonal factors to maximise revenue opportunities
- Ensure strict compliance with company policies, financial controls, and regulatory requirements to maintain operational integrity
- Lead and manage a team of Area Managers to deliver consistent operational standards and support their professional growth
- Collaborate effectively with Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, and Marketing teams to enhance the consumer experience in stores
- Engage regularly with Landlords to explore and establish collaboration opportunities that benefit store operations and customer engagement
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field
- Strong numerical aptitude demonstrated by the ability to interpret financial and operational data accurately
- Proven experience in budgeting, cost control, and performance analysis within a retail or operational context
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis techniques
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to take initiative and drive improvements
