Oversee Daily Production: Manage the end-to-end laundry process, from soiled linen intake, washing, drying, and ironing to quality control, packaging, and dispatch, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Maintain Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce strict quality control standards at every stage to guarantee all linen is cleaned, treated, and finished to the highest specifications and client requirements.
Manage Inventory & Logistics: Monitor and manage linen inventory levels, coordinate with drivers for pick-up and delivery schedules, and ensure accurate tracking of client assets to prevent loss.
Lead & Supervise Staff: Recruit, train, schedule, and motivate a team of laundry attendants, machine operators, and drivers. Foster a productive, safe, and positive work environment.
Ensure Machine Maintenance: Schedule and oversee regular preventive maintenance and repairs for all machinery (washers, dryers, ironers, boilers) to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
Control Operational Costs: Manage the budget for the department, including labor, chemicals, utilities, and supplies. Identify and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Uphold Safety & Compliance: Enforce all company safety policies, OSHA standards, and health regulations. Ensure the facility is always compliant and audit-ready.
Manage Client Relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts. Address client inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and conduct periodic reviews to ensure satisfaction.
Administer Reporting: Prepare and analyze daily production reports, quality metrics, and cost reports. Use data to identify trends, solve problems, and report on operational performance to senior management.
Drive Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate operational procedures, technology, and workflows. Recommend and implement improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and service.
