Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations and ensure smooth workflow across departments
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards
- Monitor operational performance and identify areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Drive operational efficiency and productivity improvements
- Manage resource allocation and capacity planning
Process Optimization
- Analyze existing processes and identify optimization opportunities
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
- Streamline workflows to reduce costs and improve efficiency
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Monitor process performance metrics and KPIs
- Lead process improvement projects and initiatives
Team Management & Development
- Lead, mentor, and supervise operations team members
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Identify training needs and coordinate staff development programs
- Manage work schedules, shifts, and resource deployment
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
- Handle employee relations and resolve operational conflicts
Planning &Coordination
- Coordinate with internal departments (sales, logistics, finance, etc.)
- Plan and manage operational budgets and expenses
- Ensure adequate inventory levels and supply chain coordination
- Schedule and oversee maintenance of equipment and facilities
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers
- Support new product launches and business expansion initiatives
Quality &Compliance
- Maintain quality control standards and inspection processes
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Conduct regular audits and implement corrective actions
- Manage customer complaints and service recovery processes
- Maintain ISO certifications and compliance documentation
- Implement risk management and safety protocols
Reporting& Analysis
- Prepare operational reports and dashboards for management
- Track and analyze operational metrics and performance indicators
- Monitor budget vs. actual expenses and identify variances
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Present findings and proposals to senior management
Requirements
Education& Experience
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field
- 5 years of operations experience (for Manager level)
- 2 years of relevant experience (for Executive level)
- Industry-specific experience is advantageous
- Six Sigma, Lean Management certification is a plus
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in operations management software and ERP systems
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills (Excel, Power BI, Tableau)
- Understanding of supply chain and logistics principles
- Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, etc.)
- Familiarity with inventory management and forecasting
- Project management capabilities
