Overview
This is a leading energy infrastructure group, playing an integral role in the energy, chemicals and gas value chain. Due to internal mobility, they are currently seeking a proven and motivated individual to join the dynamic team as an Operations Manager for one of their terminals.

Role
Reporting to the head of the terminal, the Operations Manager will be responsible for leading terminal operations employees to achieve goals within budgeted funds, cost effectiveness, and manpower planning. He/ She will ensure the smooth and safe day-to-day operations of the terminal. Other core responsibilities will include managing terminal operations, integrating processes across multiple shifts, driving service excellence, and acting as the Site Main Controller during emergencies. The Operations Manager will also lead and investigate incidents, drive data analytics for operational improvements, and ensure effective communication between customers and internal parties.

Requirements
The successful candidate will be a degree holder in engineering, with 7 to 10 years experience in terminal operations. Experience in industrial or batch process plants, leading diverse teams, and being a change maker is preferred. Strong planning, problem-solving, and data analysis skills are essential. Knowledge of operations, safety, and product knowledge, as well as experience with heat exchangers, refrigeration systems, vapour treatment systems, and utilities systems, will be advantageous. You will also have demonstrated leadership, people management skills, and the ability to manage conflict effectively.
