Operations Manager

Salary: S$6,000 - S$7,000 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of three automotive service locations, comprising car detailing centres and automotive spray painting workshops.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across all outlets, managing manpower, maintaining operational efficiency, overseeing inventory procurement, resolving customer issues, and driving consistent service quality and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of three automotive service locations.
• Ensure all workshops operate efficiently and in accordance with company standards and SOPs.
• Plan, schedule and deploy manpower across all sites to maximise productivity.
• Supervise workshop operations and ensure jobs are completed on time and to the required quality standards.
• Monitor staff performance, attendance and operational discipline.
• Purchase and manage inventory, equipment and workshop consumables.
• Maintain optimal stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials.
• Liaise with suppliers and negotiate pricing and delivery arrangements.
• Handle customer feedback, complaints and service recovery professionally.
• Identify operational issues and implement effective solutions to improve workflow and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements and company policies.
• Conduct regular site inspections to maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation and operational excellence.
• Prepare operational reports and provide regular updates to Management.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of operations management experience, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Experience managing multiple outlets or business locations is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and people management skills.
• Excellent organisational, planning and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work independently and make sound operational decisions under pressure.
• Good knowledge of inventory control and procurement processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 or Class 3A Driving Licence.
• Willing to travel between company locations on a daily basis.
