Job Summary
You will monitor and operate the NEWater plant processes, ensuring water quality and quantity standards, supporting maintenance, and maintaining accurate operational records to enable effective decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine visual inspections of plant equipment and structures to identify issues early
- Monitor process parameters regularly and accurately record data in log sheets
- Operate plant processes using DCS/SCADA systems to maintain efficient production
- Control and monitor product water quantity and quality, including upstream process quality checks
- Ensure all permit to work (PTW) procedures comply with company policies for safe operations
- Take corrective actions promptly when process parameters deviate from set standards
- Document and digitalize daily operation data to support engineers analysis and decision-making
- Assist in normalizing plant operations and conduct ad-hoc on-site equipment and process checks
- Support plant maintenance activities to ensure operational reliability
- Handle chemical receiving, preparation, and maintain plant housekeeping standards
Required competencies and certifications
- NITEC in any Engineering discipline
- Fresh graduates with no experience are welcomed
- Willingness to learn
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Class 3 driving license will have an advantage but not a must.
Other Information
- Work schedule includes 44 hours per week with regular or 12-hour rotating shifts
