Operations & Logistics Manager

Position Overview:

The Operations & Logistics Manager will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end importation and distribution processes of Mexican products. This role requires strong expertise in supply chain management, import/export regulations, and logistics optimization. The ideal candidate will combine operational excellence with cultural awareness of Mexican products and international trade practices.

Key Responsibilities:

.Oversee the entire importation process of Mexican products, from supplier coordination to customs clearance and final delivery.

.Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and food safety standards.

.Develop and maintain relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics providers.

.Manage inventory control, warehousing, and distribution processes.

.Optimize transportation routes, shipping methods, and costs.

.Implement best practices in supply chain efficiency, sustainability, and risk management.

.Build strong relationships with Mexican suppliers to ensure quality, timely deliveries, and compliance with export requirements.

.Negotiate contracts, shipping terms, and pricing agreements.

.Develop and implement SOPs for logistics, warehousing, and distribution.

.Monitor KPIs and continuously improve processes to reduce costs and enhance customer satisfaction.
