Site Name: Singapore - Tuas Posted Date: May 20 2026 Position Summary The Operations Lead is responsible to plan, lead and manage the set-up of the end-to-end production operations within the manufacturing facility with alignment to other site supporting functions so as to achieve productivity targets and objectives in a reliable, efficient and cost-effective manner, and meeting the Quality and Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) regulations and other regulatory standards. Responsibilities Operations management Responsible to plan, lead and manage the set-up of the end-to-end production operations within the future manufacturing facility. Manufacturing activities include: - Preparation and Supply of media, buffers and materials - Manufacture of intermediates and drug substance Optimize the utilization of capacity and manufacturing resource optimally and sustain efficiency in: - Manpower - Facility - Equipment - Process Identifying commissioning/ qualification/ validation/ start-up needs and timelines Ensure sufficient warehouse capacity and support Oversee maintenance and utilities generation strategy Adherence to project timeline for qualification and start-up. Completeness, soundness and timeliness of communication and decisions to stakeholder functions of project team, supply chain, engineering, quality. Meet project objective for CAPEX. Organization management Fostering an inclusive workplace, creating staff development opportunities, encouraging innovation, advocating a quality culture, maintaining safety and achieving high performance Entails a co-ordinating role in project planning, resourcing, staffing, supply and sub-contract management, progress reporting, people management, trouble shooting Provide leadership and direction to the User representatives supporting the project, to accomplish site goals and objectives and to provide process and technical support to enable GSK Tuas site to deliver operational objectives optimally and in compliance with cGMP requirements Environment, Health, Safety and Wellness Support site's safety and wellness initiatives. Display safe behaviour and mindset at all times Contribute to promote a safety culture at GSK and engage staff to develop co-operation and commitment to improving safety. Identifying and investigating near-misses are key elements to finding and controlling risks before workers are injured Qualifications/skills: Minimum Degree in Science or Engineering field At least 8 years of experience in bio/pharmaceutical industry in Production Strong background in vaccines/biologics manufacturing management .Ability to communicate effectively within site organization and across the network Good people management skills Strategic thinking, big picture perspective Why GSK Uniting science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together.
