Operations Intern

Job Description:

. Follow-up L/C issuance

. Send voyage order

. Monitor cargo itinerary

. Manage trade documents and shipping documents

. Appoint cargo surveyor

. Handle cargo claims, demurrage calculations, and invoicing

. Update operations reports and filing

. Coordinate with the Finance department for payment and reconciliation

. Liais timely and effectively with suppliers, buyers, ship brokers, cargo surveyors, cargo agents, and insurance companies

. Maintain good relationships with counterparties

Job Requirements:

. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Maritime, Shipping, International Trade, International Finance, Business or other related fields.

. Internship should contribute to school graduation requirements

. Have impeccable follow-through, and Can Do attitude and mindset

. A team player

. Bilingual with basic knowledge in Mandarin is preferred to communicate with mandarin speaking colleagues
