About Company:
Our Client celebrated their 60th anniversary as they were established in 1956. Their headquarters is in Japan and they are focused in Pump technology and has honed in the shipbuilding industry.
Job Description:
- Manage and follow through entire sales process (quotation, order processing, delivery arrangement and invoicing).
- Follow up closely on sales enquiries, quotation submitted and achieving sales target.
- Manage relationship with new and existing customers.
- Monitor customers payment schedule and chase for outstanding invoices.
- Handle and prepare full sets shipping documentation (delivery order, packing list, invoice, etc.
- Liaise with freight forwarders on shipping arrangement and familiar with shipping Incoterms.
- Assist in preparing various sales reports, attend exhibition and complete sales related activities.
- Other ad-hoc tasks being assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or its equivalent
- At least 5-6 years of relevant working experience
- Hands-on experience in order processing
- Hands-on experience in preparing full set of shipping documentation
- Familiar with shipping Incoterms
- Verbal and written communication skills in Japanese will be a major advantage (but not essential), to liaise with Japan HQ
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
- Positive attitude, self motivated, able to multi task
- Good interpersonal and effective communication skills
Compensation:
- Working location: Raffles Place, Singapore
- Working hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm
