We are looking for an experienced and energetic Operations Executive (Container) for one of our global shipping clients. The ideal candidate would have at least 2 years of experience in managing container vessels or dry bulk vessel, and possesses excellent working attitude and has an appetite for continuous learning and development.
Responsibilities
- This function is responsible for fulfilling the Charter Party requirements of the time charter/Voyage fixtures (as applicable), maintaining the company's reputation as a Shipper of Choice and customer satisfaction while keeping Owner/ Manager related expenses within acceptable levels.
- Making prompt arrangements for vessel operations in Singapore to ensure a smooth operating process by communicating with terminal, agencies, and co-workers
- Ensure cargo readiness and smooth transshipment for loading and discharging of the vessels in Singapore.
- Attend to all operational related queries/issues from internal and external
- Track voyage performance, ensuring bunker consumption aligns with Charter Party agreements.
- Other duties as required by Superintendent/Manager.
Qualifications
- Diploma holder and above
- Minimally 2 years relevant working experience in shipping industry
- Good communication skills - spoken and written English
- Ability to work under pressure & an independent and team player
- Willing to learn and has a sense of urgency.
