About The Role

Location: Tuas, Singapore

Department: Distribution & Logistics

Reports to: Warehouse Manager

As an Operations Executive, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient and timely delivery operations by optimizing route planning, managing dispatch activities, and coordinating closely with internal teams and delivery contractors. This role is critical in driving delivery efficiency, improving truck utilization, and ensuring smooth day-to-day logistics execution in a fast-paced distribution environment.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor daily load dispatch to ensure accurate and timely assignment to DSD contractors
  • Optimize the use of route planning systems to improve delivery efficiency and truck utilization
  • Continuously refine routing, call sequences, and delivery scheduling for operational effectiveness
  • Follow up on unsettled or incomplete deliveries and ensure timely resolution
  • Work closely with appointed delivery contractors to ensure smooth and efficient logistics operations
  • Monitor contractor performance and provide feedback, coaching, and guidance to drive improvements
  • Support manpower planning and deployment of delivery resources where required
  • Collaborate closely with Sales teams to align on delivery priorities and improve service levels
  • Act as the key point of contact to resolve delivery-related issues and feedback from internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide proactive recommendations to enhance delivery efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Track, update, and manage delivery KPIs (e.g., on-time delivery, utilization, service levels)
  • Analyze operational data to identify gaps and recommend improvements
  • Support reporting and dashboard updates for operational performance
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, processes, and safety standards in delivery operations
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to dispatch and delivery activities

What You Bring

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, operations, or distribution
  • Experience in FMCG, logistics, or customer service environment is an advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Strong coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work across teams and stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on service delivery
