We are partnering with an oil trading company whom looking to hire an Operations Executive. The role involves managing the entire logistics process for cargo shipments, including contract execution, vessel and cargo coordination, and handling insurance or claims issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure operations commence only with a signed contract, reviewing key terms and issuing instructions to finalize agreements.
- Manage Letters of Credit to ensure alignment with contract terms, handle invoicing matters, and oversee financial securities.
- Nominate vessels, issue operational instructions, appoint inspectors, and manage related invoicing and storage arrangements.
- Coordinate vessel clearance with terminals, review shipping documentation, issue voyage instructions, and process freight invoices.
- Handle issues as they arise, advise the Insurance Department, and coordinate the necessary documentation for claims processing.
- Ensure accurate and timely input of deal details into internal systems for proper coordination and reporting.
Requirements:
- Degree in Maritime, Business or related disciplines.
- Preferably with more than 8+ years of oil trading operations experience in products such as Fuel Oil, Petchems or Naphtha.
- Strong understanding of the international oil trading environment.
- Knowledge of operational and financial procedures.
- Excellent multitasking and priority management skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
