NES Fircroft is currently recruiting for an Operations Engineer to join us in a contract position to support our clients within the Life Science/Pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will have experience working within EPC CAPEX projects within the pharmaceutical industry.
Major Accountabilities
- Manage capital projects, ensuring timely completion and minimal disruption to operations
- Coordinate and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure materials and outsourced services
- Manage electrical and instrumentation projects
- Participate in formal internal design reviews of proposed products and components
- Develop cost estimates and utilities project specifications for proposal
- Ensure the optimal functioning of HVAC, WFI, chiller, boiler, cooling tower and wastewater systems through regular maintenance checks and performance evaluations
- Get permits for maintenance / calibration / projects
- Execute work orders for maintenance / calibration as per method statement / procedure
- Supervise maintenance / calibration work
- Manage stores for spare parts (good receipt, incoming inspection, delivery to work area, make parts for quick repairs and improvements)
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent
- At least 8 years of experience in commissioning utility and ELV systems in Pharmaceutical CAPEX projects in the capacity of an engineer
- Proficiency in engineering design software tools such as AUTOCAD
- Familiar with regulatory requirements such as FDA, EMA, HSA and cGMP
- Class 2 Boiler Attendant Competency certificate
