Overview

CIS is seeking an experienced and highly driven Head of Operations to lead the execution and delivery of all projects across Enterprise and Data Center clients. A self-motivated person who welcomes the challenge of growing & acceleratinga business and has a firm grasp on being able to multitask through the growth cycle. Effective communication, planning, and leadership qualities are a must.

The role will oversee a team of project managers, engineers, and site teams, and will be instrumental in scaling operational capabilities as the business grows.

This position will report directly to the Managing Director and will work closely with the Sales Director and Pre-Sales teams to ensure seamless transition from solution design to project execution. However, the successful candidate will be a senior member of the CIS team at the board level, and thus, a level of proven capability and experience will be a must.

Responsibilities

. Lead the end-to-end delivery of Data Center and Enterprise projects (ICT), including structured cabling, network infrastructure, AV, and security systems

. Manage and mentor a team of Project Managers, ensuring consistent performance, accountability, and professional development.

. Establish and enforce project governance, processes, and best practices across all stages of execution.

. Oversee project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management to ensure timely and successful delivery

. Drive cost control, budgeting, and financial performance across all projects

. Manage vendor relationships, procurement strategies, and subcontractor performance to ensure quality and efficiency

. Collaborate closely with Sales and Pre-Sales teams to review project scope, validate technical solutions, and ensure smooth project handovers

. Act as the senior escalation point for project-related issues, ensuring rapid resolution and client satisfaction

. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client-specific requirements, particularly within Data Center environments

. Develop operational strategies to scale delivery capabilities in line with business growth and market demand

. Maintain strong relationships with key clients, supporting long-term partnerships and repeat business opportunities.

. Construct and monitor reliable control systems.

. Oversee compliance with all local authorities or any other authorities relating to CIS regional Operations.

Qualifications

. 10-12 years of relevant experience in project delivery and operations, with a strong focus on delivering on time, on-budget projects within the ICT Infrastructure space.

. Proven track record in delivering large-scale projects for Data center clients and/or major Enterprise clients.

. Strong technical expertise in datacenter infrastructure, including structured cabling, networking, and critical systems.

. Demonstrated experience in managing multiple project teams and complex, multi-site deployments.

. Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects and teams across differing Geographies.

. Solid understanding of project management methodologies, cost control, and contract management

. Experience in vendor management, procurement, and subcontractor coordination.

. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

. Ability to operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a hands-on approach

. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
