Job Description
For our Singapore Branch, Express Global is looking for a motivated Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in freight forwarding and logistics operations, with a strong knowledge of shipping processes and customer service excellence. Full proficiency in English is required.
The selected candidate will report directly to the Operations Manager / Directors of the Branch.

ACTIVITIES
- Manage and oversee daily operations of freight forwarding activities across air and sea freight.
- Handle cross-shipments arrangements, with a specialized focus on ex/to Batam trade routes.
- Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely shipment of goods.
- Prepare and process bookings and shipping documents, including bills of lading and customs declarations.
- Monitor shipment status and provide proactive updates to clients regarding delivery timelines.
- Resolve operational issues and discrepancies efficiently to minimize delays.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to enhance overall client satisfaction.
- Maintain strict compliance with regulatory requirements and internal company policies.
- Assist in optimizing operational processes for higher efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in freight forwarding and logistics operations.
- Strong knowledge of shipping processes, both air and sea freight.
- Hands-on experience in managing cross-trade business (specifically ex/to Batam trade routes).
- Customer service excellence.
- Full proficiency in English.
- Must possess valid work rights to work in Singapore.
