Job Description
- Leverage in-depth knowledge of the complete trade process, including confirmations, affirmations, custody, settlement, central clearing procedures, and after-trade oversight.
- Manage risk in post-trade activities, i.e. confirmations, settlements, affirmations, clearing, and reconciliations
- Work closely with internal teams, clearing house, clients, and brokers to identify and resolve operational challenges, conduct root-cause analyses, and establish safeguards against future issues.
- Team up with interdisciplinary groups to advance technology and workflows, promote operational expansion, and coordinate project goals, schedules, and outcomes.
- Apply data-based insights by creating performance trackers, key indicators, and analytical tools to evaluate efficiency, detect problems, and inform strategic choices.
The Successful Applicant
- A degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or other related fields CFA a plus
- Min 3 years of experience in Operations roles within top-tier financial institutions
- Solid understanding of post-trade processes of financial instruments i.e. equities, fixed income, derivatives, interest rate, or OTC products.
- Superior organizational abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities under pressure and devise inventive approaches to challenging problems.
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data analysis/visualization tools
