The Operations and Support Engineer provide's technical support and administration across end‑user computing (EUC), Microsoft 365 services, and on‑premises Active Directory environments. He/she is responsible for day‑to‑day operations, incident resolution, system administration, and user access management.
The role ensures service levels are met by maintaining endpoint reliability, managing identity and access, supporting collaboration platforms, and troubleshooting infrastructure issues. The Operations and Support Engineer collaborate's with IT teams to implement changes, supports business users with technology needs, and contributes to medium‑term operational improvements.
He/she possesses hands‑on expertise in EUC platforms, Microsoft 365 administration (including Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint), and Active Directory services, with a strong focus on security, compliance, and operational excellence.
Work Responsibilities: -
Support EUC operations
- Deliver technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and related peripherals
- Monitor endpoint health, system performance, and patch compliance
- Troubleshoot hardware and software incidents in a timely manner
- Administer EUC management tools to enable remote support, automate patching, and enforce endpoint security policies
Administer Microsoft 365 and Entra
- Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
- Configure and enforce collaboration, security, and compliance policies across the Microsoft 365 environment
- Manage Microsoft Entra ID, including user lifecycle management, conditional access, MFA, role-based access, and application integrations
- Implement and monitor identity governance, security baselines, and compliance controls
Maintain Active Directory and DNS
- Manage Active Directory objects including users, groups, organizational units, and Group Policies
- Enforce access control and security policies
- Support backup, restoration, and disaster recovery testing activities
- Monitor domain controller health, replication, and DNS integration
- Administer DNS services and resolve name resolution issues
Incident resolution and continuity
- Respond to IT service requests, incidents, and escalations in accordance with service level targets
- Support change management processes and deployment of system updates
- Maintain and update SOPs and knowledge base documentation
Collaboration and development
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and application teams to support IT operations
- Identify and recommend improvements to enhance system reliability, performance, and user experience
