Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operations and Compliance Associate to support our day-to-day business operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring processes run smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the front office, clients, and external/internal stakeholders to ensure accurate trade capture and timely upload for investment funds.
  • Monitor and review daily operational reports, including cash and position reconciliations to ensure smooth workflow across functions.
  • Perform daily NAV reviews, monitor fund expense accruals, and prepare periodic reports on fund valuation, performance returns, and investment analytics.
  • Manage broker onboarding and account setup processes while coordinating with vendors and service providers to facilitate operational logistics.
  • Participate in the annual audit process for multiple entities, acting as a liaison with auditors on technical matters.
  • Assist in the completion of due diligence questionnaires and ensure strict adherence to regulatory reporting requirements and internal compliance policies.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and propose solutions to improve process efficiency, effectiveness, and overall performance.
  • Support the execution of internal projects, strategic operational initiatives, and various ad-hoc tasks as required.

Requirements

  • A degree holder in Accountancy, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous, organised, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage multiple stakeholders including clients, service providers, auditors, and senior management.
  • Able to multi-task, prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to speak Mandarin will be an advantage when liaising with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
  • Prior experience (internship or full-time) in fund operations, audit, or financial services will be beneficial but not required.
