Overview
This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality static data setup and maintenance across platforms such as Murex, Front Arena, AXE, MLC, UBIX, and related Treasury systems, while working closely with front office, operations, finance, and risk teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Data Maintenance & Management
- Support the setup and maintenance of counterparty profiles, trading portfolios, and other critical reference data across Treasury systems
- Perform creation and maintenance of counterparty static data
- Maintain Standard Settlement Instructions (SSIs) accurately and in a timely manner
- Manage holiday calendars across systems such as Murex, Front Arena, FinIQ, and ILMS
- Update and maintain credit ratings for bond issuers
- Maintain ISDA, CSA, NAFMII, and PAD master agreement data within relevant systems
- Set up and maintain currencies and currency pairs in Murex and Front Arena
- Create and maintain bond static data across trading platforms
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Liaise with Treasury dealers, Relationship Managers, Finance teams, Risk Management Group (RMG), and processing teams to resolve static data and configuration issues
- Ensure timely resolution of data discrepancies and support business users with accurate reference data
- Act as a key point of contact for static data-related queries across multiple stakeholders
Process Improvement
- Contribute to process optimisation and system enhancement initiatives
- Document new and updated processes to ensure operational clarity and consistency
Quality Assurance & Governance
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and completeness of all static and reference data maintained in systems
- Adhere strictly to internal controls, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Support audit and control requirements related to data governance
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Banking, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or related disciplines
- Minimum 1 year of experience in static data management, treasury operations, or financial systems support
- Familiarity with Treasury systems such as Murex, Front Arena, or similar platforms is good to have
- Keen attention to detail with high standards of data accuracy and governance
- Good understanding of financial instruments, counterparty structures, or market reference data
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment
- Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
