ShelfPerfect is transforming how brands manage in-store execution. We combine a distributed network of trained merchandisers (Shelfies) with technology, data, and image-based insights to help brands improve availability, visibility, and sales in retail stores.
As we scale, execution quality and data reliability are critical. This role sits at the heart of our operations team.
As an Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing completed merchandising tasks, validating data and images, and ensuring work meets ShelfPerfect's quality standards. You will play a key role in maintaining trust with our brand partners and continuously improving how our platform and operations perform.
This is a hands-on role suited for someone detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with large volumes of operational data and images.
Review completed merchandising tasks submitted by Shelfies
Validate photos, data entries, and compliance with SOPs
Approve, flag, or reject tasks based on quality standards
Identify recurring execution issues or training gaps
Track quality metrics (error rates, rework, compliance trends)
Identify patterns across stores, brands, or merchandisers
Provide structured feedback to the operations and training teams
Suggest improvements to SOPs, task flows, and quality checks
Support the rollout of new quality standards or campaigns
Contribute to refining scoring, incentives, or gamification rules
Work closely with Operations, Product, and Quality teams
Support customer-facing teams with execution insights when needed
Help prepare internal reports and summaries for management
2-5 years of experience in operations, quality control, retail execution, data operations, or a similar role
Experience reviewing operational outputs, audits, or field work is a strong plus
Exposure to retail, FMCG, marketplace, or gig-economy environments is a bonus
Strong attention to detail and structured thinking
Comfortable working with dashboards, spreadsheets, and large datasets
Able to review and interpret image-based data
Clear written communication for feedback and reporting
Able to manage repetitive tasks without losing accuracy
Quality-driven and process-oriented
Proactive in spotting issues and suggesting improvements
Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment
Ownership mentality - cares about outcomes, not just tasks
Experience with SOPs, audits, or quality assurance frameworks
Familiarity with retail merchandising or in-store execution
Hands-on, operational, quality-focused
Exposure to data, insights, and product evolution
Not a people-management role (yet)
Not a pure data science or engineering role
