Role Description:

The Operations Analyst plays a critical role in optimizing and streamlining business operations by analyzing processes, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending improvements. This position involves gathering, organizing, and analyzing data related to operational performance and assisting in the implementation of operational strategies that enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall business effectiveness. The Operations Analyst works closely with other departments to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), track operational metrics, and support decision-making with data-driven insights.

Key responsibilities include analyzing workflow, inventory, supply chain processes, and customer service operations to identify opportunities for improvement. The Operations Analyst will also collaborate with stakeholders to implement new systems, monitor the progress of ongoing initiatives, and track the success of operational changes. The role requires proficiency in data analysis tools, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate operational data into actionable insights.

Additionally, the Operations Analyst is responsible for producing detailed reports and dashboards, supporting the development of business cases for process improvements, and assisting in the implementation of best practices across the organization. This position requires an individual who can work independently, think analytically, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify operational inefficiencies or areas for improvement.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms to track and analyze performance metrics.
  • Solid understanding of business operations, including supply chain, inventory management, and customer service processes.
  • Experience with process mapping and identifying areas for optimization or automation to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights for stakeholders, including senior management and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to present findings and recommendations clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with project management and supporting the implementation of operational changes, including tracking progress and reporting results.
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports and analyses.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, IT, and customer service, to drive operational improvements.
  • Time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • A degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in operations, logistics, or data analysis is an advantage.
