About the Opportunity

Join a leading global financial institution and gain exposure to the fast-paced world of capital markets. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or candidates with up to one year of experience who are interested in financial markets, operations, and client servicing.

You will be part of a high-performing Operations team supporting Global Markets businesses, working closely with stakeholders across Sales, Trading, Compliance, Middle Office, Settlements, and Technology. The role offers broad exposure to trade lifecycle management, risk controls, process improvement initiatives, and client relationship support.

This position is ideal for individuals who are highly analytical, detail-oriented, technologically savvy, and eager to build a career within the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end processing and management of transactions within Global Markets.
  • Monitor and manage operational workflows to ensure timely and accurate execution.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across Sales, Trading, Compliance, Middle Office, Settlements, and Technology teams.
  • Assist in identifying operational risks, control gaps, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Analyse data, prepare reports, and support presentations for management and key stakeholders.
  • Investigate and resolve trade exceptions and operational issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, market standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to workflow enhancement and automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Support client servicing activities and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in strategic projects focused on operational excellence and risk management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Banking, Accountancy, Information Systems, Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • 0-1 year of experience in finance, banking, operations, or related fields (internships are welcome).
  • Strong interest in financial markets and the trade lifecycle.
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint familiarity with data analysis tools is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Team player with a proactive mindset and willingness to learn.
