Operational / Store Steward Manager to join our team!
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee daily stewarding and store operations to ensure efficient and smooth workflow
- Manage the receiving, storage, issuing, and control of food, beverage, and operating supplies
- Ensure accurate inventory management, stock rotation (FIFO), and proper storage practices
- Conduct quality checks on incoming deliveries to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Implement and monitor hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards across stewarding and storage areas
- Supervise, train, schedule, and develop stewarding and store associates
- Ensure proper use, handling, and maintenance of cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Control operational costs through effective inventory planning and waste management
- Coordinate with Culinary, F&B, Procurement, and Engineering teams for operational effectiveness
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and hotel policies at all times
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality Management or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in stewarding, stores, or operational management, preferably in a hotel environment
- Strong knowledge of hygiene, food safety standards, and inventory control procedures
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing large operational teams
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem ‑ solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast ‑ paced, high ‑ volume environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Computer ‑ literate with knowledge of inventory or stock management systems
