Role Summary
This role will report directly to the Head of Operational Risk and Trade Surveillance.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the Operational Risk Manager will include the following:
- Manage Fullerton's incident management process to identify incident, analyze root causes, review control adequacy and propose practical solutions to mitigate risks
- Monitor the implementation of risk mitigating action plans
- Provide updates on operational risk exposures to relevant committees
- Review and maintain operational risk framework and related policies
- Participate in the conduct of deep dive / end-to-end process review
- Assist with outsourcing risk related matters (risk assessment, ongoing monitoring, coordination of the Outsourcing Committee, update of the outsourcing register)
- Contribute to the operational due diligence on service providers
- Coordinate the preparation of the ISAE 3402 report with internal process owners
- Being a backup on the conduct of ODD on Alternative funds and trade surveillance
Education Qualification
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or any other risk management related disciplines.
Experience and Skills
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in financial institutions
- Proactive, self-starter and independent
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Hands-on experience in risk and control assessment
- Ability to challenge the status quo and drive changes
- Comfortable engaging multiple individuals with different level of seniority
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under tight timeline
- Knowledge of the investment management industry
- Good working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
