Responsibilities and Tasks

Strategic Program/Project Management

  • Develop a deep understanding of OCT and Network objectives, aligning them with Micron's company goals.

  • Drive the execution of programs and projects using standardized methods and metrics, ensuring alignment with performance targets and cross-departmental needs.

  • Recruit subject matter experts and team members, bringing to bear the portfolio process to ensure success.

  • Establish accountability through clear communication, ongoing feedback, disciplined project management, and effective use of metrics.

  • Find opportunities with collaborators to improve key performance indicators, leading teams to innovative solutions that drive balanced success.

  • Lead global, cross-functional initiatives supporting OCT and company objectives.

  • Collaborate with the SEAL Manager to clarify project objectives and ensure delivery of committed program value.

  • Coordinate with colleagues and functional leaders on global initiatives and strategic projects.

  • Deploy metrics to benchmark project performance and share guidelines for success.

  • Mentor global project managers, providing guidance and support.

  • Continuously improve OPMO, Network, and Micron-wide methodologies and processes.

Tactical Project Leadership

  • Clearly define and communicate project goals, aligning with FLT priorities and broader corporate initiatives.

  • Facilitate the definition of project missions, objectives, key deliverables, and schedule and financial resource requirements.

  • Collaborate with project members to set aggressive yet achievable goals.

  • Develop benchmarks and governance frameworks to track project progress, risks, and changes, taking timely actions when necessary.

  • Partner with fabs, PMO, and central teams to define systems and processes for success.

  • Communicate project status, risks, change requests, and completion requirements to collaborators.

  • Advocate for business process improvements, aligning solutions with overall objectives.

Communication

  • Cultivate strong, cooperative connections with colleagues and managers across various departments.

  • Deliver effective presentations on project updates and new initiative proposals.

  • Engage with the management team to achieve goals, seeking support to remove obstacles and applying available resources.

  • Provide consistent updates on area issues and project progress.

  • Schedule and lead meetings to communicate performance, changes, and decisions.

  • Build external relationships to introduce new ideas and guidelines.

  • Respect diverse cultures and languages, ensuring clear and thoughtful communication.

Training & Development

  • Ensure comprehensive training for new business processes, partnering with the training organization to improve materials.

  • Build a succession pipeline by identifying and developing future successors.

  • Collaborate with Network partners to identify and fulfill training requirements.

Safety

Requirements :

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field


Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of progressive experience in project/program management, with a strong focus on Frontend operations within the semiconductor or manufacturing industry.

  • Proven track record in leading strategy and transformation initiatives that delivered measurable business results.

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder programs with significant budget and organizational impact.

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project management certification.

  • Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification.

  • Track record of successfully implementing AI/digital solutions in an operational environment.
