Key Responsibilities
Day-1 Hands-On Deployment
- Execute end-to-end cloud infrastructure deployments across AWS, Azure, and GCP platforms
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates, and Google Deployment Manager
- Deploy and configure cloud-native services including compute instances, containerized applications, and serverless architectures
- Manage multi-cloud environments with focus on reliability, scalability, and performance optimization
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex deployment issues across different cloud platforms
Architecture Review Design
- Conduct comprehensive architecture reviews for proposed cloud solutions
- Design resilient, cost-effective multi-cloud architectures aligned with business requirements
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate cloud services and deployment patterns
- Ensure architectural decisions comply with security best practices and regulatory requirements
- Create detailed technical documentation and architecture diagrams
Security Compliance
- Implement and maintain cloud security governance frameworks
- Ensure adherence to Singapore's Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) IM8 cloud security standards
- Design and implement security controls for government and enterprise compliance requirements
- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability management across cloud environments
- Maintain data residency and privacy compliance across multi-cloud deployments
Cloud Operations Native Services
- Leverage native cloud services for optimal performance and cost efficiency
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using cloud-native tools
- Manage container orchestration platforms (EKS, AKS, GKE) and serverless computing (Lambda, Azure Functions, Cloud Functions)
- Optimize cloud resource utilization and implement cost management strategies
- Establish backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on cloud deployment experienceacross at least two of the three major platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and methodologies
- Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in cloud environments
- Knowledge of networking, security, and database services across multiple cloud platforms
Security Compliance Expertise
- Understanding of Singapore IM8 cloud security frameworkand implementation requirements
- Experience with government compliance policies and regulatory frameworks
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices, identity and access management (IAM), and encryption standards
- Familiarity with security assessment tools and vulnerability management processes
Core Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- At least 1 Professional cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder presentations
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud management platforms
- Knowledge of financial services or government sector compliance requirements
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and project management
- Experience with automation and orchestration tools
- Understanding of FinOps and cloud cost optimization strategies
