Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction activities from start to finish.
Monitor project timelines, budget, and resources, ensuring targets are met.
Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and method statements.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design, quality, and safety standards.
Manage on-site construction teams, assigning tasks and ensuring productivity.
Resolve technical and contractual issues promptly to minimize project delays.
Prepare and submit progress reports and attend coordination and client meetings.
Ensure all site operations comply with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and MOM guidelines.
Job Requirements
Education & Certification:
Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building, or a related discipline.
Professional certifications or training in project management or workplace safety (e.g., PMP, WSQ, CSOC, or Safety Coordinator certificate) are an advantage.
BCA-recognised qualifications are preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Proven experience managing building, infrastructure, piling works or civil engineering projects in Singapore.
Familiarity with local construction methods, materials, and government regulations (BCA, MOM, NEA, PUB, LTA, etc.).
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
Proficient in using Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, and other project management tools.
Knowledge of quality assurance (QA/QC) processes, safety protocols, and site inspection procedures.
Soft Skills:
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
Other Requirements:
Familiar with WSH Act and MOM regulations.
Must be willing to work on-site and adapt to changing schedules.
Possess a valid Class 3 driving licence (preferred for site travel).
