Key Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight
- Manage day-to-day operations, including scheduling vessel deployments and coordinating robotic cleaning missions.
- Ensure smooth execution of underwater robotics services across multiple ports and fleets.
Team Coordination
- Supervise ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) operators, engineers, and logistics staff.
- Provide training and guidance to ensure operational excellence and safety compliance.
Process Optimization
- Develop and implement efficient workflows for equipment handling, maintenance, and deployment.
- Monitor KPIs such as turnaround time, cost efficiency, and service quality.
Logistics & Supply Chain
- Oversee warehouse and inventory management for robotics equipment and marine tools.
- Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners for timely delivery of parts and consumables.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to maritime safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions when needed.
Strategic Support
- Work closely with the COO to align operations with Neptune Robotics mission of reducing carbon emissions.
- Support expansion into new regions and scaling of services globally.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Engineering, Logistics, Maritime Studies, or Business Administration.
- 5-8 years of experience in operations management, preferably in robotics, maritime, or industrial sectors.
- Proven track record in managing field operations and logistics.
- Strong knowledge of fleet operations, robotics deployment, and supply chain management.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communicator with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast-changing environments.
- Passion for sustainability and innovation in maritime technology.
