We are looking for an experinced Operation manager (Restaurant) to oversee the daily operations of our Fine Dining restaurant in Singapore.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading outlet operations, maintaining service standards, managing manpower, driving sales performance, ensuring customer satisfaction, and upholding hygiene, food safety, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the overall daily operations of the restaurant and ensure smooth front-of-house and back-of-house coordination.
Lead, supervise, and train service and operations staff to maintain high service standards.
Plan staff scheduling, manpower deployment, and performance management.
Monitor sales performance, operating costs, stock levels, wastage, and profitability.
Ensure excellent customer service and handle guest feedback, complaints, and service recovery professionally.
Work closely with the kitchen and purchasing teams on menu planning, stock control, and supplier coordination.
Ensure compliance with food hygiene, workplace safety, and company standard operating procedures.
Prepare management reports on sales, staffing, inventory, and operational performance.
Implement marketing, promotional, and business development initiatives to improve revenue.
Ensure the restaurant maintains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
Requirements
Diploma or degree in Hospitality, Business, Food & Beverage Management, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in restaurant or hospitality operations, including managerial experience.
Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
Good understanding of restaurant operations, customer service, inventory control, and cost management.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage operational issues independently.
Familiarity with POS systems, reporting, and operational planning will be an advantage.
