Operation Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise shipyard operations focusing on coolers, condensers, and heat exchangers
• Plan and coordinate manpower, resources, and work schedules for ongoing projects
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Liaise with clients, surveyors, and classification societies
• Monitor project progress, costs, and timelines
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to marine cooling systems
• Lead and mentor supervisors, technicians, and subcontractors
• Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and quality control procedures

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in marine shipyard operations
• Strong knowledge of heat exchangers, central coolers, oil coolers, and freshwater systems
• Experience in repair, servicing, and pressure testing of marine equipment
• Good leadership and project management skills
• Familiar with MOM safety standards and shipyard regulations in Singapore
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
