Key Responsibilities 1. Assist the middle office team in supporting commodity trading operations (steel, iron ore, etc.). 2. Follow up on contract execution and prepare/verify trade documents (contracts, bills of lading, customs declarations, invoices, etc.). 3. Coordinate shipping arrangements, port handling, and warehousing; monitor vessel schedules and cargo flows. 4. Liaise with front office (Traders), back office (Finance/Settlement), and external parties (customers, shipping agents) to ensure smooth operations. 5. Organize and archive daily trading/shipping records, and support preparation of operational and business reports. 6. Gain exposure to risk control, compliance, and internal workflow processes.
Requirements 1. Undergraduate or postgraduate student in progress; majors in International Trade, Shipping & Logistics, Finance, Economics, or Supply Chain preferred. 2. Strong command of both written and spoken English and Mandarin. 3. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). 4. Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. 5. Strong analytical and communication skills with a good team spirit. 6. Interest in commodity trading, shipping, or trade operations.
