Report to: General Manager, Operations (Malaysia & Singapore)
OVERALL PURPOSE
To lead the overall operations of KJFEM Singapore, ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction, profitability, workforce productivity, and sustainable business growth while maintaining compliance with Singapore regulatory requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Own end-to-end operational performance across all Singapore contracts, ensuring service quality, manpower deployment, and SLAs are consistently met.
Develop and execute the Singapore operations strategy in line with company growth targets, budget, and revenue objectives.
Manage the P&L for the Singapore business unit, including budgeting, cost control, and margin-improvement initiatives.
Lead, coach, and develop Operations Managers, Executives, and Supervisors to build a strong succession pipeline.
Act as the senior client-facing point of contact for key accounts, including facilities and industrial clients, managing escalations and strengthening long-term relationships.
Drive workforce planning, manpower optimisation, and compliance with Singapore's Progressive Wage Model (PWM) and related labour regulations.
Oversee WSH (Workplace Safety and Health) compliance, audits, and risk management across all sites.
Standardise and continuously improve operational workflows, SOPs, and quality control systems across the Singapore portfolio.
Support new business development, including client proposals, site assessments, and contract mobilisation for new accounts.
Report regularly to the General Manager on operational KPIs, financial performance, risks, and improvement plans.
Collaborate with the Malaysia operations team to align best practices, resourcing, and cross-border support where relevant.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 8–12 years of operations management experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role, ideally within cleaning, facilities management, or integrated FM services.
Proven track record of managing multi-site operations and teams of 100+ frontline and supervisory staff.
Strong P&L and budget management experience, with demonstrated ability to improve operational margins.
Solid understanding of Singapore's regulatory environment for the cleaning sector, including PWM, MOM guidelines, and WSH requirements.
Experience managing corporate, industrial, or semiconductor/manufacturing facility clients is a strong advantage.
Excellent client relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills at senior level.
Strong people leadership skills, with the ability to build capability across a multi-tiered operations structure.
Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, or a related field.
Data-driven and process-oriented, comfortable working with reporting dashboards, SOPs, and structured documentation.
Singaporean/PR strongly preferred given the client-facing and regulatory nature of the role.
