Role Overview

The Operations Executive is responsible for the day-to-day cleaning operational management of multiple cleaning sites, ensuring service standards, manpower deployment, and client requirements are met. This role acts as the bridge between Operations Manager, site supervisors, and on-ground staff.

Translation: you keep things running smoothly so fires don't happen, or you put them out fast when they do.

Key Responsibilities

Site & Operations Management

  • Oversee multiple assigned sites to ensure cleaning operations meet contract specifications and KPIs

  • Conduct site visits, inspections, and spot checks

  • Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and operational SOPs

  • Identify issues early and implement corrective actions promptly

Supervisor & Manpower Management

  • Manage and support site supervisors reporting directly to you

  • Ensure supervisors deploy manpower effectively and follow schedules

  • Assist in manpower planning, coverage for absenteeism, and emergency replacements

  • Coach supervisors on performance, discipline, and communication

Client & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Serve as the first point of contact for site-level operational issues

  • Handle feedback, complaints, and follow-ups professionally

  • Escalate critical issues to the Operations Manager with solutions, not excuses

Logistics & Mobility

  • Travel between sites as required for inspections, meetings, and urgent issues

  • Transport tools, equipment, or supplies when needed

Requirements

Mandatory

  • Class 3 driving licence

  • Comfortable and confident with regular driving between sites

  • Willing to work flexible hours when operational needs arise

Experience & Skills

  • Experience in operations, facilities management, or cleaning services preferred

  • Able to manage multiple sites and teams simultaneously

  • Strong problem-solving skills, calm under pressure

  • Good communication skills (English required other languages are a bonus)

  • Basic reporting and documentation skills

  • Hands-on, not desk-bound

  • Firm but fair with supervisors and staff

  • Organised, responsible, and accountable

  • Not afraid to get your hands dirty when needed (this is ops, not a showroom)
