Key Responsibilities
- Provide pre-, intra-, and post-operative nursing care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
- Assist surgeons and anaesthetists during operations, ensuring patient safety and aseptic practices at all times.
- Prepare and maintain the operating room, instruments, and equipment before, during, and after procedures.
- Monitor patients conditions and respond promptly to clinical changes.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement, infection control, and patient safety initiatives.
- Supervise and guide junior nurses and support staff where required.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognised institution.
- Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
- Preferably with relevant experience in Operating Theatre nursing training will be provided for new entrants.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills.
