Job Description

Brief Summary

Join a dedicated team in a dynamic healthcare setting as an Operating Theatre Assistant. Contribute to efficient and high-quality surgical care while gaining valuable experience in a critical aspect of patient support.

Responsibilities

Assist with patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. Prepare operating theatres based on the daily surgical schedule. Ensure operating theatre equipment is checked, maintained, and ready for use. Safely manage the disposal of soiled linen and general/biohazard waste following safety protocols. Transport patients securely between wards and the operating theatre. Carry out despatch and logistical support duties. Maintain and organize operating theatre supplies to ensure availability.

Requirements

Secondary education or higher. Ability to work 3 rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays. Comfortable with tasks involving standing, moving equipment, and patient transport. Responsible, team-oriented, and attentive to hygiene and safety standards.
